Klaus Svendsen
Prior to joining Arrow Global, Klaus was European head of IR for Starwood Capital Group and worked on the 11thGlobal Opportunistic Fund which closed in 2021 at $10 bn. Before joining Starwood, Klaus spent 5 years at Alcentra – a leading European sub-investment grade manager, pioneering European Direct Lending alongside strategies in Structured Credit, Bank Loans, European Special Situations and HY bonds. During his time at Alcentra, the firm grew from an Aum of approx. €12bn to approx. €40bn (2014-2019) with Klaus leading the investor activities across EMEA ex-UK. Before joining Alcentra Klaus spent 12 years in investment banking, trading and structuring fixed incomed and derivatives for Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley and RBS, all in London.
